The Sophia Way (TSW) was able to open Helen’s Place after raising 1.4 million dollars. Through this capital campaign, TSW added 48 new beds and expanded case management and support services for homeless women in King County, Washington . 

Each of the six donor plaques represents a giving level. The symbols used were inspired by Nina Borgia-Aberle’s love of old buttons and brooches, which she considers miniature works of art. During tours of the space, donors particularly enjoyed hearing about this metaphor.
