Tucson Nursery School (TNS) was founded in 1946 by Mrs. Imogene Myrland who played a critical role in the history of childcare in Arizona. To this day, Tucson Nursery School, Inc. continues its services for disadvantaged children and families with limited income.
The donor recognition wall includes a handprint of Prudence Haney, daughter of Imogene J. Myrland surrounded by handprints of children currently attending TNS. Prudence was also an educator teaching for 34 years as an elementary teacher for TUSD.
Angel Charity for Children gives away almost a million dollars annually to children’s organizations in Tucson, AZ. Tucson Nursery School was a recipient. To learn more about Angel Charity:
